Our Staff
Seth E. Miller, Esq. – Executive Director
Mr. Miller, who joined the project in August 2006, is a magna cum laude graduate of Florida State University’s College of Law and was a student intern with the project in 2003. He is a former project attorney with the American Bar Association Death Penalty Moratorium Implementation Project and a former staff attorney with the First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee.
Toni Shrewsbury – Assistant Director
Ms. Shrewsbury, who joined the project in March 2006, has extensive management experience in the fields of public relations, fundraising, advertising, and marketing, for which she has won numerous awards. A former newspaper opinion columnist and published author, she is also an accomplished writer and editor.
Bobbi Madonna - Staff Attorney (Florida Bar Admission Pending)
Ms. Madonna, who joined the project in June, 2008, graduated from University of Cincinnati School of Law. While at the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Madonna was the Judge's Coordinator for the Moot Court team and a Rosenthal Institute for Justice Fellow for the Ohio Innocence Project. She also worked as a law clerk for the criminal defense law firm of Arenstein and Gallagher in downtown Cincinnati.
Melissa Montle, Esq. - Staff Attorney
Ms. Montle graduated from Tulane Law School in New Orleans and was licensed to practice law in Florida in 2003. She worked for the Public Defender’s Office in West Palm Beach, FL for 2.5 years where she gained extensive experience in juvenile, misdemeanor and felony trial practice. Ms. Montle also has experience in insurance defense and family law practice.
Anthony Scott, MSW, - Director of Social Services
Mr. Scott joined the project in August 2006 to direct our social services section. He has expertise working with both prisoners and ex-offenders, having provided psychotherapy at House of Hope and Broward Outreach Center. Mr. Scott is also a founding member of the national Exoneree Support Committee, networking with and training innocence project workers throughout the United States.
