The Innocence Project of Florida, Inc. (IPF) is a non-profit organization, with 501(3)(c) status granted by the Internal Revenue Service. Our services are offered free of charge to any indigent inmate with a meritorious case whose innocence can be conclusively proven through postconviction DNA testing.
Although we remain the only viable resource in the state for those who have been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned, we receive no state funding. Substantial grants by the Florida Bar Foundation and others have brought us this far, and for that we will always be grateful. But our continued operation and success depends on the generosity and financial support of the public.
