Our 2019 event will be the first of its kind in Miami, a momentous commemoration of freed innocents, and of the work that shapes the long arc of justice served in their cases. We will celebrate those freed in Florida and around the world since the innocence movement began, honor change-makers in the innocence movement, and laud the support from individuals that makes our work possible.
On September 28, 2019, our annual fundraiser, the Exoneration Celebration, will be hosted at the University of Miami Newman Alumni Center in coordination with the University of Miami School of Law Innocence Clinic. All proceeds from this benefit go toward funding our work to find and free innocent people from prison in Florida.
Our litigation efforts and support services for freed people are provided at no cost to the wrongfully convicted. Your support of our annual fundraising event makes this vital assistance available to others who are innocent, imprisoned, and waiting to come home.
