What your gift makes possible
When it comes to the critical work of finding and freeing innocent people, every dollar counts. Below is just a sample of what your gift will pay for:
$50 - Pay for the approximate postage for mailing questionnaires to 50 incarcerated individuals
$100 - Defray screening and evaluation costs of a potential case including public records requests
$250 - Buy groceries for an exoneree for one month
$500 - Cover the cost of an overnight trip for an attorney travel to meet with client
$1,000 - Covers two months rent for a recently freed person
$2,500 - Pay for initial medical and dental exams and treatment for one freed client
$5,000 - Cover the costs of a comprehensive investigation in one case
$10,000 - Pay the approximate costs associated with all necessary DNA testing in a single case
