In February 2020, Innocence Project of Florida’s annual comedy event series, Stand Up for Innocence, will visit Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Lake Park for an evening of levity and laughs in order to raise money for a serious cause.

All proceeds from these shows will provide critical funding for our work to find and free innocent people from prison in Florida.  Our litigation efforts and support services for freed people are provided at no cost to the wrongfully convicted.

Each Stand Up for Innocence show offers sponsorship opportunities. A sponsorship includes a list of perks, including the opportunity to meet freed innocents and complimentary tickets to our private receptions before the show. Read the sponsorship information below to see what works best for you.

If you’re interested in making an in-kind gift or have something else in mind, please contact IPF Development Coordinator Kelleigh Helm.

Each year, nearly 1,000 people reach out to our organization for help. Your sponsorship will make these opportunities available to others who are innocent, imprisoned and waiting to come home. You can make an impact and invest in justice by sponsoring one of our Stand Up shows or as a guest of one of our events this coming season.

Join an evening of fun while providing critical funding for litigation efforts on behalf of the wrongfully convicted in Florida prisons.

Sponsorships can be purchased online or made by submitting a completed sponsorship form and mailing or emailing it to our Development Coordinator, Kelleigh Helm.

Contact Kelleigh Helm, IPF Development Coordinator, at 850-561-6767 or email khelm@floridainnocence.org with questions about the event and sponsorship opportunities.

Fraud Alert: We have heard that there are people who fraudulently represent themselves as working for the Innocence Project of Florida, promising legal representation in exchange for money. These people do not work for the Innocence Project of Florida. If you believe you have been contacted by such a person, please contact us. The Innocence Project of Florida provides all legal representation for free. While we rely on charitable donations to support our work, we never solicit money for our services from our clients.
